Ihor Macijiwsky | Executive Producer – Creator of Mantracker and Hooked...

Ihor Macijiwsky is Bonterra Productions’ founder and executive producer. His internationally distributed programs have earned him a reputation for dynamic television that fuses adventure with documentary. Since 1979, Ihor has excelled in television production as the producer/director/cinematographer behind several hundred documentary programs, with a reputation for striking images and gripping storytelling.  A HOT DOCS and Emmy award winner, seven GEMINI nominations have also recognized Ihor’s commitment to high quality programming. In 2008 Mantracker was awared the Gemini for Best Music in a lifestyle production.

This is MANTRACKER!  The gritty adventure series that pits an expert tracker against two weekend warriors in a chase through a remote and rugged wilderness is back for a SIXTH(!) season.

The hit OLN series MANTRACKER, produced by Bonterra Productions/ Ihor Macijiwsky is currently filming it's sixth fantastic season with plans to shoot 12 episodes across Canada and in the US!  Location is a primary character in this drama, and MANTRACKER takes a lot of pride in showcasing the beauty, ruggedness and challenges of each region and it's magnificent wilderness through panoramic vistas and stunning aerial photography, filmed entirely in High Definition. 

Each season sees nearly 1000 applicants vying for their chance to be Mantracker's prey.  Now, as a result of airing on Discovery's Science Channel in the much-coveted 10 PM Wednesday time-slot, Americans are looking to give the Canadian Cowboy a run for his money.  From the Alberta schoolteacher who's entire class sent fan letters to the high-powered Ottawa banking exec and his protege who want to challenge Mantracker, from the young newlyweds in Nashville to the Los Angeles attorney/adventure racer looking to push his limits, MANTRACKER reaches an audience that transcends age, gender and socio-economic status.
